When the oscillating granulator is running, the tightness of the feeding and the position of the screen directly affects the quality of the granules produced. When the amount of material added in the hopper is large and the screen is loosely clamped, the number of times the soft material passes through the screen can be increased when the drum rotates, which can make the particles hard.
The particles produced by the rocking granulator generally have a uniform particle size distribution, which is beneficial to the uniform drying of the wet particles. Its main feature is that the rotation speed of the rotating drum can be adjusted, the screen is easy to load and unload, and its tightness can be adjusted appropriately. The mechanical transmission system is all sealed in the body, and an adjustment system is attached to improve the life of the parts. However, since the granulation process is made by directly pressing the screen mesh by the roller, the frictional force of the material to the extrusion force of the screen mesh is relatively large. Metal contamination is easy to occur when using metal screens, while nylon screens need to be replaced frequently because they are easily damaged, so care should be taken when using them.
